"John came to our place today to help us with our barking and often disobedient Toy Poodle Columbo. Instantly Columbo became calm and happily responded to the commands given by John. John gave us an understanding of how our dog thinks, why he responds in various situations the way does, and the mistakes we were making unintentionally that encouraged Columbo to think his disobedience was ok. John demonstrated and allowed us to practice practical techniques to combat disobedience, excessive barking, socializing with other dogs, road safety, and house rules. Already we have seen a big change in Columbo’s behaviour. We highly recommend John, he has a great energy and rapport with dogs, is a fantastic trainer, quick to diagnose the issues and causes of a dogs bad conduct, spends plenty of session time, is very friendly and well worth a call. "Just wanted to give a big THUMBS UP to John at Paw Attitude for sticking with my new boy Cai and I! At 6years old Cai was rescued from an illegal puppy mill where he was kept as a 'sire' in a 6ft x 6ft concrete cage, brutalized into submission and now so frighted of people he runs the other way with just the slightest move toward him. I have always had dogs that were other peoples 'dumps' but i was totally unprepared for the level of psychological damage to this poor boy...John has been AMAZING... giving both Cai and I the confidence to stick this struggle out!
